CBD's Effect on Dogs

Just like humans, dogs (and other vertebrates) have an endocannabinoid system with receptors for cannabinoids, including CBD, CBDA, and CBG. What is CBD’s effect on dogs?

The endocannabinoid system internally moderates effects like calm, relaxation, reduced internal inflammation, more robust immune systems, and much more.

When you or your dog ingest full spectrum hemp oil like Genie’s, the receptors accept the cannabinoids as a key fits into a lock producing a desired effect on the brain and body.

While much research and science are proving the benefits of CBD’s effect on dogs and humans, it is essential to know that studies and research are ongoing every day. If you’re unsure whether CBD and Hemp oil are safe for your dog, please take a look at our FAQs or feel free to CONTACT US.

We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
