Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all canines, one dog at a time
We strive to bring a line of products that help alleviate common ailments that harm the wellbeing of dogs whom we see as active and beloved members of our families. We believe the physical and emotional wellbeing of our fur babies is inextricably linked to our own and ultimately to the overall happiness and health of our families.
At the age of seven, Alex and Christian's beloved Airedale Terrier Genie was diagnosed with a fast-growing hemangiosarcoma in his nasal passage.
Although they went through two surgeries to remove the tumor, the cancer margins remained. Genie’s prognosis was three to four months with no further treatment or six to seven months with radiation treatment.
Radiation treatment would require Genie to visit the clinic 21 times in three weeks. Radiation was also going to cost $20,000+ depending on the option they chose.
More importantly, it was essential to consider the all the side effects that would be caused by the radiation - including one that would cause Genie’s big happy nose to deteriorate.
Given the seriousness of the situation, they decided there had to be a better way.
Having been involved in the medical cannabis industry for over 14 years, they began to deepen their knowledge of the therapeutic benefits of cannabis on pets and discovered that many animals have more endocannabinoid receptors than humans do in their brains.
So, Alex and Christian set out to formulate topical and oral cannabis tinctures for Genie.
Two months later, Genie was in remission, and for the rest of his life, that nasal sarcoma never came back.
Not only did Genie survive, but he lived for another happy three years. There is no financial equivalent to this victory. And we are not the only ones. We’ve met many families that have experienced the same healing that we have. We want to share this healing with you.
Note: This is not to suggest that we are anti-radiation as a medical treatment, in fact cannabis has been found to help many dogs manage the side effects of radiation. We have also see many pets overcome cancer through the use of both radiation and cannabis.
